The Apollo Health Check
offers you a comprehensive general health screening program and is our
second most popular program, (after the Apollo Whole Body Check) and is
recommended for anyone over the age of 30 years old. |

It is universally agreed amongst medical practitioners that regular health checks are the best way to alert you to any health issues and make you aware of health factors that could be affecting you, as you grow older.

The program forms the basis of all of our health check programs and includes a consultation and advice by a senior General Physician. As well as a discussion with consultant surgeon or Gynaecologist. |

We check your heart, liver, lung and renal functions. Produce
a detailed blood analysis and lipid profile assessment of your cholesterol
levels, and test for common diseases that can be detected. Also inflamatory
diseases (e.g joint complaints, gout )

Women, have a cervical
smear and breast examination. Women over 40 a thyroid function blood
test can also be included and / or a mammogram for an extra cost to this
package or you may prefer to have the WellWoman Check. |

Cardiac Evaluation - Detects heart abnormalities resting ECG,
and Chest Xray
Ultrasound of the abdomen - Screening only, produces detailed images
of the internal organs, including liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen
and kidneys. Prostate for men and for Women their reproductive system. |

| Laboratory Tests |

General Investigations Full blood analysis - Blood disorders, Urine
analysis to test for many known medical diseases. Biochemical detection
of diabetes, renal disorders and alert you to high cholesterol levels
and possible Liver disorders.
