Facilities
It is fully equipped with modern equipment essential for the level of care we are proud to provide, such as ventilators, invasive cardiac pulmonary monitors, incubators, resuscitaire and perfusor syringe pumps.
Patient Addmision
Besides neonates with cardiac and respiratory problems, premature and low birth weight newborns are the most common cases admitted to the unit for our specialised care.

To ensure babies under our charge are always rendered the highest standard of care and attention, the nurses are well trained and nurse-patient ratio constantly adjusted to the level of care needed, such as 1:1.

Parental Support

Parents are encouraged to participate in the care of their babies by singing and talking to them, which we know helps promote bonding, growth and development. Mothers are also advised to manually express and store their breast milk to be given to their babies at a later time.

Prior to discharge, our nurses help prepare parents to adapt to their care provider role by giving them health education and encouraging them to handle their babies.

Cases discharged from the unit are followed up to promote long-term relationship among the nurses, the parents and babies.
