at Apollo Hospitals Colombo offers services for both the prevention and
treatment of a wide variety of illnesses. Our general medicine department
is comprises of a large series of medical sub-specialties, with the highest
quality physicians skilled in all areas of medicine. Through the use of
modern equipment and advanced technology, we are able to determine the

Services
We provide diagnosis and treatment services in the following areas:
A general practitioner (GP), family physician or family practitioner (FP) is a physician/medical doctor who provides primary care.
Our GP/FP treat acute and chronic illnesses, provide preventive care and health education for all ages and both sexes. Some also care for hospitalized patients and do minor surgery and/or obstetrics, where they have hospital privileges.
