1. Due the number if tests and the scans involved in your health check you will need to book in advance, so we can prepare all examinations for you.
2. You will be required to fast for 12 hours prior to the time of your appointment. Most health checks start at 8am. Please only drink water and no food or alcohol for a minimum of 12 hours before your appointment.

Bring Stool and Urine samples with you. Sterilized plastic containers
are available at our Health Check Department or can be collected from
our Sample Counter at the Investigations Desks. Just inform them that
you have booked an Apollo Health Check.
4. Please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to remove, no jewellery (rings, necklaces, watches etc) and exercise shoes for those doing a Cardiac Stress Analysis for the treadmill.
5. Your reports are normally ready 2 days after your health check, an appointment will be made for you on the day of your health check. The physician will give a full consultation based on your results giving his/her advice and recommendations. A dietician will also review your diet and lifestyle activity giving advise on nutrition and healthy living.
6. For the Whole Body Cheq, if you normally wear contact lenses, please avoid wearing them for 2 days prior to your Health Check.
7. If you are diabetic,
avoid taking your insulin injections / anti diabetic
tablets on the morning of Health Check. Please carry your insulin / anti
diabetic tablets, which you can take mid way through the program as instructed
by the doctor. Other regular medication can be taken as instructed by
the doctor. Please carry regular medication with you.
8. It is not essential,l but if you have earlier Medical records that are not with our hospital and/or medical accessories like glasses, hearing aid please bring them with you when you come for Health Check.
9. Free registration to Apollo Hospital Colombo if its your first visit with an Apollo Health Check.
10. Please inform us in advance if you would like any additional investigations or consultations, so that we can schedule your appointments at the same time. These will be charged extra to you and are payable in advance when you arrive.
