Our History

Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC began its operations in Sri Lanka on 7th June 2002 under the brand name Apollo Hospitals, part of the prestigious Apollo Hospitals chain founded by the renowned Dr. Pratap C. Reddy in India.

Over the past decade, Lanka Hospitals has achieved significant milestones in infrastructure development and the enhancement of its products and services. Our Food Safety Policy

Our Food & Beverages Department is dedicated to providing safe, high-quality food that poses no health risks to patients, staff, and other consumers, while continuously improving our Food Safety Management System. We take every precaution to ensure that all food products are free from contamination and meet the highest safety standards. Lanka Hospitals commitment to food safety is upheld through strict adherence to statutory requirements, applicable laws, and industry standards, alongside rigorous hygienic practices. Clear responsibilities are assigned and communicated to our staff, who undergo regular training to ensure compliance. This policy is consistently implemented, communicated, reviewed, updated, and maintained across the department.
