Agrahara insurance scheme was established by National Insurance Trust Fund Board Act No 28 of 2006 with the Ministry of National Policies & Economic Affairs, to uplift the living standards of government employees and their families island-wide. Nearly 700,000 government employees and their dependants are entitled to premier healthcare services from private hospitals under Agrahara insurance scheme. Driven by the strong sense of corporate social responsibility, Lanka Hospitals has partnered with the NITF since 2010 and has continued to offer superior healthcare services leaving no additional burdens or anxieties on individuals attached to the public sector.
